LDJ Events - Terms and Conditions
By paying your booking fee, you agree to our booking T&Cs below…
All bookings require a booking fee and completed booking form to secure the booking. Booking fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
We offer 2 payment options…
CASH – Cash Payments are due on the day of your event once we arrive at the venue, before we setup for your event.
BANK TRANSFER – Your final balance must be cleared 2-3 days before your event if paying by bank transfer.
Should you choose to cancel your event, all booking fees paid are non-refundable under any circumstance.
Cancellations made within 30 days of the event date will require 100% of the total booking value to be paid.
Cancellations made within 100 days of the event date will require 50% of the total booking value to be paid.
In an extreme circumstance where LDJ Events are required to cancel your event (Staff Sickness, Emergencies, Extreme Adverse Weather etc) we reserve the right to do so and will always do so at the earliest possibility with a full refund made to the customer.
Under the circumstances that the event cannot happen by law, emergency legislation or Government / Local Council advice, LDJ Events will allow you to re-schedule your event to a date within the next 12 months of your initial event date with no additional fees or charges. Booking fees can be transferred to this new date.
LDJ Events reserve the right to stop performing at any event if the safety of our staff, equipment or guests becomes a concern. In these circumstances, a full payment will remain payable but we will cease to provide our services. Under 18s must be under adult supervision at all times.
1hr to setup and a minimum of 30 minutes to pack away is required unless otherwise agreed in writing.
A minimum of 2m x 2m space is required for us to setup.
2 x UK 13 Amp Sockets are required within 10 meters of the setup location.
LDJ Events cannot be held responsible to a delay in your event start time due to any of the above being limited, reduced or incorrect.
A parking space near to the venue entrance should be reserved for LDJ Events.
Breakages / Damage
LDJ Events cannot be held responsible for any harm caused to any attendee, member of the public, their property or damage to a venue / venue’s property under any circumstances. We carry full Public Liability Insurance however all damage or injury must be reported to our team before the end of the event. Claims of damage after LDJ Events have left the venue will be rejected. Should a guest at your event cause damage to any of LDJ Events' Equipment, as the hirer, you are responsible for the price of repair or replacement of this equipment.
Sound, Lighting & Special Effects
Limitations – LDJ Events cannot be held responsible for limitations put in place that may affect the services we are providing such as Sound Limiters, Smoke Detection Systems or similar. UV Glow Parties require a darkened venue – please check this with your venue before booking this package.
LDJ Events cannot be held responsible for the way that some people may be affected by flashing lights/ strobe effects, loud sounds, haze / smoke effects, bubble fluid and / or any other effects. If your booking includes use of a Bubble Machine, you should be aware that the floor can become slippery during use. Whilst we will do our best to keep the floor dry, it is the customers responsibility to make safe any spillages or slippery surfaces and warn of any danger. We cannot be held responsible for any slips or falls that may result in injury.
Photography / Videography
By placing a booking with LDJ Events, you agree to LDJ Events to take photos and videos at your event and for these to be used on our websites and associated social media channels. By default, all photos from our Open Air Photobooth will be uploaded to our Facebook Page for you and your guests to download. Should you wish to keep these images private, you can request that a private link is sent to your email address for you to download the images and share as you see appropriate.
It is the responsibility of the hirer of LDJ Events to ensure that the Venue / Event Organisers hold the relevant licensing to hold the event. By placing a booking with LDJ Events, you confirm that you have checked the above.
Prizes / Give-Aways
As part of our Children’s / Teen Party Packages, LDJ Events provide prizes free of charge. We cannot be held responsible for any accidents that may occur as a result of these prizes including allergic reactions, choking etc. It is the parent’s responsibility to read the ingredients of any edible prizes and check that they are safe for their child to consume. Ingredients of all prizes are available from our Staff or the Product’s Packaging.
LDJ Events cannot be held responsible for a delay in event setup or the event start time as a result of adverse weather, traffic delays, faulty equipment, road closures or similar. In these circumstances, best endeavours will be made to arrive at the venue ASAP.
Face Painting, Glitter Tattoos, Balloon Modelling, Soft Play, Bouncy Castles
If you book any of the above services with LDJ Events, these are sub-contracted to Fantasy Castles. By placing a booking with us, you also agree to the hirer’s T&Cs available HERE
